For the 4th year in a row the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City, NV was awarded to the Levitt AMP award from the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation. This national award is the catalyst to produce a 10 week, all ages music series that aims to strengthen the social fabric of America through free live music. The 2019 series will begin on June 22 with Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours and conclude on August 24 with The Brevet on The Change Companies Stage. This year’s line up is diverse and includes tow Grammy award winning artists.
The Brewery Arts Center recognizes the need for increasing third party, informal gathering spots outside the realms of home and the workplace. This idea has become clear in today’s world and guides us in our community-driven efforts. As a representative of the community as a place for Arts and Culture, our goal is to reflect the best of Carson City by creating community and social interaction among people of all ages and backgrounds; empowering our city to reclaim neighborhoods and reinvigorate public spaces; and ensuring the performing arts are accessible to all.
